“How s it going everyone i wanted to say thank you for all the subs subs and comments. You ve given so far. It s greatly appreciated it really makes happy to see all of you get your things fixed with some of the how to videos. I ve been posting and i also appreciate a lot of your comments on other tips and tricks that we re not covered in any of my videos with that please please keep giving me subscribes.
It s it ll help me out tremendously a lot of this stuff. I do go out and buy on my own perfect example. I got a lot of requests to do a disassembly video for you fee 11s. Which is a slim model apparently there s some fasteners that aren t in covered in the videos for the other versions of eupbs.
So if you could please please share check out some of our other videos and i ll keep bringing you repair videos for different things random things or anything you guys would like to see done so with that said. Let s get started all right so the you phim model 11s is a lower profile model of the original euphy. One of the differences between this and a yuffie model. 11 is that the motor.
The wheel assemblies are removable without taking you for you part obviously. It s got a a lower profile. A lot of the parts are different so you via leaven parts will not fit the 11s. The brush is different.
It s actually a better design a lot easier to remove and replace everything else is pretty similar the on off switch is located on bottom versus. The side and the dust compartment is also slightly different the request. I ve been getting most on this is when all the standard screws are removed. The body halves.
Don t come apart. Now the first time. I took one of these apart. I ran into the same issue and i ll point that out right here.
There s actually two screws in the brush compartment. Now when i first opened one of these up. There was a lot of dust impacted into these cavities. Where the screws go in and i did not see those screws and only when i started trying to take it apart of course.
I couldn t get it seemed like something was still holding the back side on and that s when i took a closer look and dug the dirt out and found the screws..
So there it is guys your two culprits all right other than that everything is pretty much the same remove the side brushes and remove the front bumper. Now this front bumper is actually split into two pieces. So i m not sure why they did that might have something to do with saving money on the size of the plastic mold possibly. Now.
If you are taking this apart. Because you re having issues with the brush motor or the side brushes or the vacuum itself. Then you do need to open up the case. If you re having issue with the drive wheels open up the case is absolutely not necessary.
And i ll show you both ways and one way is not really easier than the other you can remove them after you split the case apart alright. It s always a good idea to remove the battery now this particular unit. Did not have a battery with it when i bought it. But i did find that euphy.
11 battery fits perfectly it works just fine all right same thing bumper bumper was just hooked into the top. So be carefully remove that and then carefully grab your connector wiggle. It out. I ll just show.
You one wheel. Here there are four screws holding each of these wheel assemblies in as i said. I purchased this to do this video since i did not have a slim to take apart to show you guys so there s actually we didn t find anything wrong with this one once we had the battery put into it okay. So once the four screws are out if you push the wheel in and lift and slide towards the back and then up and out you ll see there s a spring.
Oh well i just came off this is the suspension spring its captive on the inside of the body. So it can t come loose or fall out you can just hook and unhook. It just like this then the cable same thing about a connector wiggle. It out and your motor is free and if needed you can there s a pin here that you have to drive out.
And so i don t see so this is probably yeah. This will have to be driven out so check that out later. So we re gonna have screws. Here.
Doesn t need to come out screws here here and over here alright..
This is something i found out earlier too this hole is tapered for some reason so might need to switch to a smaller screwdriver. The screws are the same size. However as the others of course. We can t forget these two screws over sure you don t lose your screws well.
I may have missed the screw sorry about that guys just a couple screws. More than a couple apparently all right you be careful with this lid. There is a cable for the power switch you can either take it loose here or from the board. The board might be easier on the 11s just like the eleven.
There are bumper switches again looks like it s an improved design. They shouldn t hang up like the other ones did just wanted to show you this this is the mounting for the spring. It s got a screw through if you wanted to completely remove it side brush motors vacuum brush motor and the vacuum motor itself is most likely going to be mounted in this box here. I ll go ahead and pop these connectors loose as always if you feel you need to take a picture of this or save this video or use.
A sharpie marker or tape to mark your connections. It s usually not a issue getting them back and where they came out once all the cables are disconnected screw. The board as usual if possible use a electrostatic just discharge wristband or discharge yourself against something metal just so you don t damage. This board with static electricity front sensors same as the other eupbs you make sure you re careful how you pull this out there s pockets that you sit in which you could easily bend.
These and snap them off this is front sensor board assembly. There s nothing no screws that you have to do to remove that set it aside then you can remove your corner brush motors. If you need to open it up to remove any debris. I ll go ahead.
And do that just to demonstrate it again this euphy appears to be fairly new. So it does seem to be working just fine. And it is sacrificing itself for all you guys out there trying to fix yours looks nice and clean so a point that was brought up with by a few of you is that this gear is sometimes pressed on too far which causes it to rub on this plastic housing or on the motor itself. And what you ve done i ll go ahead and remove this the easy to show you can see there s a gap between the gear and the motor sometimes this is pushed on too far in it there s no gap.
There what i like to use is a gauge is a business card should fit not snug in there. But you should be able to slide it in and out with no issues. Just for reference. The number for this motor.
Rc. 500. Kn forward slash 1 3. 5 0.
0. A. Like dv or possibly. D.
U. And there s a smh10 24 8. 306. Made in china.
And it looks like the company might be smc. As some see motors and all of the motoring gearbox parts in here. Pretty much come apart. In the same way to get the brush motor out this vacuum assembly needs to be removed since i have this out i ll go ahead and disassemble this way remove this gasket the squirrel cage.
So far all the screws in this assembly have been the same screws. I think it says a couple of snaps these grommets out it looks like this is pressed onto the motor. So i m not gonna that s on there pretty good. But here s some numbers looks like to 0.
And 704 m. 4. 8. 0.
And there s a 82 28. M80. The board looks like it says nigh duck. And i dec.
All right to get the motor out it looks like it s one piece this housing assembly for the brush it looks like the gearbox is integrated into it and it looks like we ve got one two three four five looks like five screws..
If you want to keep this sitting flat. While you re working on it i have to do is disengage this spring. This is the fifth screw just be aware that there s other cables that are ran through these strain relief points. Just kind of pop them out same thing on this side pop it out.
And there we have it same thing since we have this apart. We ll just go ahead and open it up make sure everything it s nice and clean in there i know these videos are pretty long. But i just want to make sure you guys know exactly what to do and how to do it and if i skip steps. I do apologize just leave me a comment or a message and i will do my best to help you out of the situation that you re in let s cover using come on okay so looks like it s probably slightly snapped in all right well.
I wasn t expecting that it is clean in here by the way look at that they re using a bearing that s great to see belt looks to be in a very good condition and all there seems it s been just fine looks like there s a good gap between the gear and the motor. I m gonna go ahead and put this back together this shaft is probably pressed into this cover well. It s like that i did get the belt engaged the motors turning. It was a little bit of a pain.
I would say judging by the bearing that s installed in here. I don t think this would have the issues that the model 11 has as far as debris getting into the transmission. But you never know hair has a way to find its way all right well lads put this back together make sure this engages this cutout here same thing with this gasket switches screwdrivers. The other one is not as magnetic.
How to start the screws you so here you can see these drop censors drop right into these slots. I m sure now your cables are pitched spring back on i have to make sure all your cables are dressed back into the strain relief should be all ready to reinstall the top forgot a screw reinstall front bumper and just hangs over the front. Something to keep in mind the half you want to reinstall is along with the tab. See this fits over the top of that now just need to make sure the bumper moves freely you ve reattached it once that s done reinstall our parts this brush could use it cleaning.
But we all know how to do that by now right corner brushes plug in battery. Installing a cover go and power and on when you re done working on this be a good idea to clean the bottom sensors off you can see i got plenty of finger grease on them fingerprints alright guys. So i hope that s helped you all out and once again. I do buy a lot of these on my own to put these videos together.
